Terms of Use

1. Agreement

These Terms govern SelfScene and its official support services. By downloading or using SelfScene, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

The applicable app store terms also apply. On Apple platforms, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies unless a valid custom EULA is presented in App Store Connect. Mandatory store and consumer terms control where they conflict with these Terms.

2. Eligibility and license

You must be legally capable of accepting these Terms. If you are below the legal age of majority, a parent or legal guardian must review them where permitted.

Fikir Yazilim grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to install and use SelfScene on devices you own or control as allowed by the applicable store. The app is licensed, not sold.

3. Your recordings and responsibilities

You retain the rights you already hold in content you record or create. SelfScene does not claim ownership of your recordings.

• obtain consent or other legal authority before recording people, conversations, places, performances, screens or protected material;
• comply with privacy, wiretap, publicity, intellectual-property, workplace, venue, aviation, driving and safety rules;
• review content before publishing it;
• secure your device, projects and exported files;
• avoid distracted or unsafe use.

4. Prohibited use

Do not use SelfScene to create, possess or distribute unlawful, abusive, exploitative, infringing, deceptive or privacy-invasive content. Do not interfere with purchase verification, distribute unauthorized copies, introduce malware or misuse the SelfScene or Fikir Yazilim brands.

5. Device compatibility

Simultaneous front and rear recording depends on hardware, operating-system support, active lenses, resolution, frame rate, temperature, storage and other system conditions. SelfScene may use one camera or reduce available modes. A phone model or OS version alone does not guarantee dual capture.

6. Local storage and recovery

Projects can be lost if you delete them, uninstall the app, erase or damage the device, lose access or experience a hardware or system failure. Export important recordings and keep backups appropriate to your needs.

Recovery features reduce risk but cannot guarantee every interrupted recording. SelfScene may warn about low storage, block a take that cannot safely start, or stop and finalize an active take at a critical reserve. This safety behavior is not a hidden recording limit.

7. Creator Pro

Creator Pro is designed as a non-consumable, one-time in-app purchase that unlocks the features described in the live store listing. Apple or Google shows the local price and taxes before confirmation and governs payment, refunds, chargebacks, family sharing and account access.

Use the in-app restore control while signed in to the store account that completed the purchase. A one-time purchase does not promise that every platform, device, feature or the application itself will operate forever. An existing non-consumable entitlement will not intentionally be converted into a recurring subscription without a separate lawful offer and clear consent.

8. Updates and third-party services

Fikir Yazilim may update SelfScene for safety, compatibility, performance, design, legal or feature reasons. Some updates may be required for newer operating systems or store services.

SelfScene relies on operating-system camera and media frameworks, the App Store or Google Play, Photos, MediaStore and system sharing tools. Those services have separate terms and privacy policies.

9. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SelfScene is provided “as is” and “as available.” Fikir Yazilim does not warrant universal dual-camera support, uninterrupted recording, perfect recovery or acceptance by every sharing platform. Mandatory consumer rights and warranties remain unaffected.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fikir Yazilim is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost content, profits, revenue, data, business or opportunity.

Where liability cannot be excluded, total liability arising from SelfScene will not exceed the amount paid for SelfScene during the 12 months before the event, except where applicable law requires a different result. Nothing limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

11. Termination

You may stop using SelfScene at any time. Fikir Yazilim may suspend store-connected features or terminate the license for a material violation, subject to applicable law. Ownership, disclaimer, liability and dispute terms survive where their nature requires.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Gaziantep Courts and Enforcement Offices have jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law gives you the right to use another forum.

13. Changes and contact

These Terms may be updated for product, legal or operational changes. Material changes will be communicated where required.
