Both sides. One story.

SelfScene records the front and rear cameras together when the iPhone supports it, then lets you swap, position, trim and export the story without sending your footage to a publisher cloud.

Dual-camera availability depends on the iPhone model, active lenses, temperature, storage and system conditions. SelfScene falls back safely to one camera when needed.

SelfScene

Fast enough for the moment. Flexible after it.

Swap without guesswork

Make the scene or yourself the main view. Double-tap the floating camera or use the visible swap control.

Shape the composition

Drag, resize and reset picture-in-picture. Creator Pro adds side-by-side, stacked and original-track export.

Choose the destination, not the dimensions

Pick Reels, TikTok and Shorts, YouTube, Instagram portrait, square or a custom size in plain language.

Keep the source safe

Trimming and layout edits are non-destructive. Local projects stay private until you export or share them.

LOCAL FIRST

No account. No ad SDK. No publisher cloud upload.

Camera, microphone, storage, audio-health and thermal signals are processed on the device. The current internal TestFlight build contains no behavioral analytics or cross-app tracking.

CREATOR PRO

Creator Pro is planned as a one-time unlock

SelfScene is not yet publicly available on the App Store. In the internal TestFlight build, in-app purchases are test transactions and do not charge you. Planned Pro features include additional layouts and ratios, original front/rear track export and a saved auto-scrolling teleprompter.

FAQ

Before you test

Will every iPhone record both cameras?

No. SelfScene uses Apple-supported camera combinations and explains when the device must continue with one camera.

Does SelfScene upload my recordings?

No publisher cloud upload is included. Projects remain in app-private storage until you choose to export or share them.

Can I delete a take?

Yes. Delete it from Your Takes and confirm. Copies already exported to Photos or another service must be deleted there separately.
