Privacy Policy

1. Scope and controller

This policy explains how Fikir Yazilim handles information when you use SelfScene, contact support or visit an official SelfScene page. SelfScene is a local-first camera and video composition app. No SelfScene account is required.

FİKİR YAZILIM TEKNOLOJİ ANONİM ŞİRKETİ is the publisher and data controller for publisher-held support records. Its contact details appear at the end of this policy.

2. Camera, microphone and local projects

When you grant permission, SelfScene processes available camera video and microphone audio to create the recording you request. It also evaluates microphone level and the active input route locally so it can show live, quiet, silenced or unavailable audio states.

Source tracks, project metadata, previews and temporary rendered files remain in application-private storage. SelfScene does not transmit recordings, live audio levels or camera content to a server operated by Fikir Yazilim.

3. Information stored on the device

These values operate the app and are not used to identify you across apps or services. Teleprompter text is not written into exported video.

• random project identifiers, creation and update times;
• recording state, available camera mode, duration and file size;
• source filenames, recovery state and local error messages;
• selected layout, format, trim range, camera order and picture-in-picture position;
• app language, onboarding state and other app preferences;
• teleprompter script and display settings you choose to save;
• the last confirmed Creator Pro entitlement state.

4. Storage, temperature and camera pressure

SelfScene checks available storage and coarse system-provided thermal or camera-pressure states so it can warn you, block an unsafe start or safely finalize an active recording. These signals are processed on the device and are not retained as analytics or sent to Fikir Yazilim.

5. Photos, export and sharing

On Apple platforms, SelfScene requests add-only Photos access when you choose to save an export. On Android, a requested export is written through the system media collection. The current feature set does not require broad access to browse your entire photo or video library.

If you use the operating system share sheet, the destination you choose receives the selected content and handles it under its own privacy policy.

6. Creator Pro purchases

Apple's App Store or Google Play processes account, payment, device, tax, fraud-prevention and transaction information under its own terms. SelfScene receives limited product and transaction status needed to show the local price, start and finish a purchase, recognize pending status and restore an entitlement.

The current release does not send purchase receipts or tokens to a Fikir Yazilim server. Fikir Yazilim may receive store-provided aggregate sales and financial reports as the publisher.

7. Support information

If you contact support, Fikir Yazilim receives the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, message, app and device details, and attachments. Do not send a private recording unless support specifically requests it and you choose to share it.

The in-app support report is created locally, shown to you before sharing and never sent automatically. Support correspondence is used to answer requests, diagnose issues, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations, then retained only as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes.

8. Advertising, analytics and tracking

The current SelfScene release contains no advertising SDK, behavioral analytics SDK, cross-app tracking, publisher cloud-media service or use of recordings to train an AI model. Official SelfScene pages do not use advertising trackers.

Apple and Google may provide aggregate store, crash, installation, purchase or performance reports under their own services and user settings.

9. Retention and deletion

Local projects remain on the device until you delete them in SelfScene, clear app data or uninstall the app. Deleting a project removes its local source tracks and project metadata from SelfScene storage.

Copies exported to Photos, a gallery, Files, a backup, another app or a social platform are outside SelfScene project storage and must be deleted from those destinations separately.

10. Security

SelfScene uses application-private storage and platform protections. Android app backup is disabled. On iOS, project storage is excluded from backup and uses data protection where available. No security measure can guarantee absolute protection.

11. Children and recording responsibility

SelfScene is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum digital-consent age that applies where the user lives. Recording, privacy and consent laws vary. You are responsible for obtaining permission required before recording or sharing another person.

12. International processing and your rights

Publisher-held support information may be processed where Fikir Yazilim and its approved service providers operate, subject to applicable safeguards. Apple and Google process store information under their own global operations and policies.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to be informed, access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability or complaint. Under Türkiye's Law No. 6698, you may also apply to the data controller regarding the processing and transfer of your personal data. Most SelfScene project content exists only on your device, so Fikir Yazilim cannot remotely access or delete it.

13. Changes and contact

This policy may be updated for product, legal or operational changes. The effective date will change, and material notices will be provided where required.
